Tampa Bay Receiver, Russell Gage, Provides Health Update After NFL Injury Similar to Damar Hamlin’s Collapse

During the Buccaneers and Cowboys game on Monday, Tampa Bay receiver Russell Gage suffered an injury and collapsed. After trying to get up, he was ultimately strapped to a backboard and taken to hospital with a concussion. Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles stated that Gage’s neck is fine, but there has been no update on his return or the exact injury he sustained. Gage himself has since taken to social media to assure everyone that he is doing great and is in great spirits. The injury occurred during an incomplete pass on second-and-10 with less than three minutes left in the fourth quarter. Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest following a game against the Cincinnati Bengals was also mentioned in the article.
