National Women’s Soccer League enlists highest earning athlete, the daughter of Dennis Rodman

The Washington Spirit’s Trinity Rodman, daughter of NBA legend Dennis Rodman, is currently the highest-paid player in America’s National Women’s Soccer League. At only 20 years old, Rodman signed a four-year contract with the team before the start of the current season, worth $1.1m. Her salary of $281,000 surpasses the $250,000 reported for both Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan. Rodman was selected as the league’s youngest player in the first draft of the NWSL draft in January 2021 and is now a member of the USWNT squad. Last month, she was nominated as a finalist for the 2022 Ballon d’Or Féminin and was named 2021 Rookie of the Year. Her agent, Mike Senkowski, stated that the new deal was made possible by Rodman’s outstanding performance in her first year. Rodman’s father is Dennis Rodman, who won five NBA titles in his basketball career and was twice selected to the NBA All-Star team.
