LeBron James, the four-time NBA champion, has received praise from basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar after he surpassed Abdul-Jabbar’s 40-year-long record and became the NBA’s all-time scorer on Tuesday night. Abdul-Jabbar, who was present at the game in Los Angeles, applauded James when he set the record with a fadeaway jumper. Abdul-Jabbar said that James’ career is evidence of his plans to dominate the game and that he deserves credit for his ability to lead his teams, which has resulted in four world championships. Despite any past tensions, James went out of his way to praise Abdul-Jabbar during a game stoppage, calling him a legend and ‘The Captain’. James currently has 38,390 points, and he has plans to continue playing for a few more years.
