Conor McGregor hints at WWE appearance following UFC and WWE merger

After the UFC and WWE announced their merger, Conor McGregor hinted at a potential appearance with the professional wrestling company. McGregor, the former dual-weight UFC champion, tweeted about the acquisition and jokingly shared a ridiculous image of himself holding both the WWE title and a UFC belt. He then added the hashtag “#itsinevitable”. This isn’t the first time an athlete has made an appearance in both WWE and the UFC. Brock Lesnar, the current WWE star and former UFC heavyweight champion, is the most notable example of this. Another wrestler and former champion in the company, Phil Brooks, also known as “CM Punk”, fought twice in the UFC but lost both fights.
