Michael Chandler, an American mixed martial artist, believes that his upcoming fight with Conor McGregor has the potential to be among the highest-grossing in UFC history. The two will be coaching against each other on the reality show The Ultimate Fighter from May to August before facing off in the Octagon at an unannounced date. McGregor has headlined five out of six of the highest-grossing UFC events ever, but Chandler is confident that their bout will make the list. In an interview with The MMA Hour on Monday, Chandler noted that the huge following both he and McGregor have would make it possible for their fight to sell two million pay-per-views. He added that his style of fighting has created a level of intrigue and mystique that will make their fight worth watching. Chandler also praised McGregor’s ability to sell fights and said that the lead-up to their upcoming match could be the most significant pay-per-view in UFC history.
