Despite not facing any break points, Norrie lost the match to Zhang after leading the first set 6-2 and looking to do the same in the second. Zhang, who is currently ranked 99th in the world, saved five break point opportunities and ultimately won the match 2-6 7-6 (2) 7-6 (2). He will now face eighth seed Taylor Fritz in the fourth round. The match lasted for two hours and nine minutes. Meanwhile, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Shevchenko, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Sebastian Baez also played their respective matches. Medvedev managed to win after losing the first set, while Tsitsipas won a three-setter against Baez.
