Aryna Sabalenka Continues her Winning Streak in Miami after Defeating Marie Bouzkova

Aryna Sabalenka sailed through to the fourth round at the Miami Open following a win over Marie Bouzkova. Despite her service problems during the Indian Wells final, the Australian Open champion managed to not suffer any break point challenges and won 6-1 6-2. Although Sabalenka received treatment for leg problems during her last game, she seemed to be in good form against Bouzkova, and commented on wtatennis.com that she had focused on controlling her muscles and concentrating on the game instead. Sabalenka is now expected to face another in-form player, Barbora Krejcikova, who beat Madison Keys 7-6 (4) 6-3. Meanwhile, Bianca Andreescu won 6-4 6-4 against Sofia Kenin, Petra Kvitova defeated Donna Vekic 6-4 7-6 (3), Ekaterina Alexandrova knocked out Belinda Bencic 7-6 (8), 6-3, and Marketa Vondrousova upset her fellow Czech Karolina Pliskova 6-1 6-2. This is the third consecutive tournament where Sabalenka and Krejcikova have faced each other, with Krejcikova winning in Dubai prior to Sabalenka’s triumph in Indian Wells.
