Lewis Hamilton is expected to continue racing with Mercedes in Formula One due to the lack of options available, according to Haas team principal Guenther Steiner. Hamilton’s current contract with the Silver Arrows expires at the end of the year, but he and Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff are set to negotiate a new deal to extend his stay. However, with Mercedes struggling in the early part of the season and Hamilton already 31 points behind Max Verstappen, some have questioned whether the seven-time world champion may consider other options. Steiner believes that Hamilton will stick with Mercedes, saying, “What other opportunities are out there for him?…I don’t think he has many.” Steiner added that Hamilton would not benefit from moving to a new team at this stage in his career, and that he should stick with the people who made him successful.
