Goodwood Festival of Speed to showcase Sebastian Vettel driving with innovative e-fuels technology

Four-time Formula 1 world champion, Sebastian Vettel, will attend the 30th-anniversary celebration of the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July. The retired German driver will drive in cars run solely on e-fuels over two days, including Nigel Mansell’s 1992 Williams car and Ayrton Senna’s 1993 McLaren. Vettel is known for being a climate change activist and often spoke out against environmental issues during his F1 career. He launched the “Race without Trace” campaign last year at Silverstone, and this year’s festival is in line with his passions as 20% of the cars will run on alternative fuels. He expressed his excitement about driving some of his most memorable cars in a responsible way and acknowledged the importance of enjoying iconic racing cars while being environmentally conscious.
