George Russell reveals details about heated argument with Max Verstappen

After their collision during the sprint race in Baku, George Russell claimed that Max Verstappen “spat his dummy out” during their argument at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. In the off-track heated interaction, Verstappen called Russell a “d*******”. Russell admitted to being surprised at Verstappen’s response, suggesting that his reaction was “a little bit poor”. Russell went on to say that if you are willing to give something, you must be willing to take it, and he thought it was just good racing. Verstappen came in second on race day, while Sergio Perez won, closing the gap to his teammate at the top of the world title standings. Russell finished eighth and is looking for a better performance in Florida. Despite the incident with Verstappen, Russell has insisted that he will not change his approach and will continue racing in the same way he always has. He thinks that it is history now, and that Verstappen is still the same great driver he always thought he was, and that they will move on.
