Kevin De Bruyne comeback to boost Man City’s Premier League title push

Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne could make his return on Saturday’s Premier League match against Leeds after missing the team’s previous two wins over Fulham and West Ham due to a knock he took in the game against Arsenal on April 26. City seeks to extend their lead by four points against Arsenal and Guardiola confirmed that if De Bruyne is fit, he can play. Though the Tuesday match against Real Madrid is looming, it won’t affect how De Bruyne will be managed, or the team selection as a whole. Guardiola insisted that he needs to focus on the physical and mental capacity of his players for the upcoming game against Leeds. Leeds’ new coach, Sam Allardyce, will lead the team in his first game and Guardiola anticipates an impact by a new manager on the players for the first one or two games. Guardiola also discussed Kalvin Phillips’ struggle for playing time at City, but assured that every player is ready to give their all for every game.
