Actor Brad Pitt is set to drive a modified Formula Two car during this year’s British Grand Prix to film scenes for his upcoming Formula One movie. Pitt will reportedly take to the circuit at Silverstone between practice sessions, with no other cars present. British driver Lewis Hamilton is producing the movie, while his team, Mercedes, will design the car that Pitt will race. Apple has acquired the movie rights, and Joseph Kosinski, director of Top Gun: Maverick, will direct the film, in which Pitt’s character returns to the sport to face a rookie driver. Hamilton is also involved in the project, helping to ensure its authenticity and writing the script.
