DeSantis praises Kemi Badenoch for stance against “woke” beliefs

During his trip to Britain, Ron DeSantis, the Governor of Florida and a possible presidential candidate for the Republican party, met with Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch and Foreign Secretary James Cleverly and praised Ms Badenoch’s efforts to prevent “woke ideology” from corrupting British society. According to The Sunday Telegraph, DeSantis lauded Ms Badenoch, who also serves as the minister for women and equalities, for speaking out on matters such as the introduction of gender-neutral lavatories and the decolonisation of school curricula.
