According to a report by The Times, plans to aid in the conversion of many members of “generation rent” into homeowners despite high prices and interest rates are being examined. The proposed measures coincide with the Labour party leader Sir Keir Starmer’s announcement that he intends to make his party the sole proponent of home ownership.
