Woman responsible for the death of her three children due to postpartum depression left paralyzed forever.

A mother who reportedly took the lives of her three children and tried to commit suicide has been left paralyzed in her lower body for life. The accused, Lindsay Clancy, allegedly strangled her five-year-old, three-year-old, and seven-month-old children in the basement of her Massachusetts home back in January. She jumped out of a second-story window after the act while suffering from severe postpartum depression following the birth of her youngest child. Ms. Clancy’s lawyer has now confirmed that she will require long-term psychiatric help and physical treatment at Tewksbury Hospital since she dwells under the care of the state Department of Mental Health. She is accused of multiple charges, including first-degree murder and three counts each of strangulation and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Her attorney plans to request more compassionate charges from the court since Ms. Clancy will need extended care for the rest of her life. Her husband’s GoFundMe page has raised $1M for legal and medical expenses, but it is her parents who have been paying for her care so far.
