The Backstreet Boys, an American band, were welcomed in true Bollywood style by the hotel staff at their Mumbai hotel, marking their return to India for the first time in 10 years. The reason for their visit was their DNA World Tour, and they performed a much-anticipated concert in Mumbai which was sold-out with 12,000 fans in attendance. The band members, all geared up for their concert, donned a range of outfits, from sleek leather jackets to glittering sequined suits and all-white ensembles, with each costume change accompanied by a different set design. After the concert, a video was posted which went viral on social media, showing the hotel staff dancing to the band’s songs. This surprised band member Nick Carter, who shared the video, commenting that he had never seen anything like it in his entire career. The video has since been shared by over a million people on social media. The band is slated to perform its last show of the India leg of the tour in New Delhi. Their ninth studio album, DNA, was released on January 23, 2019, in Japan, and on January 25, 2019, in the rest of the world.
