A former leader of the extreme right-wing group, the Proud Boys, and three of its members have been found guilty of charges relating to the January 6 riots, including seditious conspiracy. The attack, which saw the group storming the halls of Congress, led to the convictions of Enrique Tarrio and three others, following a four-month trial and six days of jury deliberation. The verdict marks the first successful seditious conspiracy charge against a January 6 defendant who was not present on Capitol Hill that day. One member of the group was not convicted.
