Fox News still faces legal battles despite settling Dominion lawsuit.

The trial that could have gone down as one of the most explosive in US legal history has come to an end. Just before the commencement of a six-week public battle, Fox News, owned by Rupert Murdoch, agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $785m (£631m) over allegations made on the conservative US network about the 2020 Presidential election, which saw Joe Biden defeat Donald Trump. Trump had subsequently claimed that the election was “stolen” without presenting any evidence. Following this payment, Fox News issued a brief statement acknowledging the Court’s decision regarding the falsity of specific claims made about Dominion.
