A father and his nine-year-old daughter who died in a space fireplace in West Yorkshire were named via police as Sohaib Ahmed, 38, and Manahal Ahmed.
Both died following a blaze at a assets in Russell Close, Heckmondwike, on Sunday.
West Yorkshire Police mentioned Mr Ahmed’s 11-year-old daughter, who was once significantly injured within the fireplace, remained in sanatorium, the place her situation was once described as “critical but stable”.

He mentioned: “Initial investigations suggest the fire may have started in the kitchen area and its possible source could have been the tumble dryer, but that’s still under investigation.
“That’s the tragedy: this was once only a native circle of relatives on an excessively common side road in Heckmondwike and a sad twist of fate has taken position.”
