Goa Doctors Call Off Strike Against Health Minister After Meeting CM Pramod Sawant

PANAJI: Goa medical doctors on Tuesday referred to as off their deliberate strike in opposition to Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, who used harsh language in opposition to Dr Rudresh Kuttikar throughout a talk over with to the Goa Medical College and Hospital. A large protest broke out at Goa Medical College (GMC) on Monday as medical doctors, Heads of Departments, interns, and scientific scholars united in anger in opposition to Health Minister Vishwajit Rane. They demanded a public apology and an finish to the VIP tradition in hospitals.

I never intended to undermine or disrespect the dignity of any medical professional,” Rane wrote.
