Ella Stiller Feels ‘Lucky’ for Parents’ Support as She Makes Off-Broadway Debut: Our Bond Has ‘Deepened’ (Exclusive)

Ella Stiller is following in her well-known oldsters’ footsteps — they usually could not be extra proud.

The 23-year-old daughter of Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor tells PEOPLE in an unique interview that her courting along with her oldsters has “deepened” since she started to pursue performing professionally. 

Ella graduated from New York City’s famed The Juilliard School in 2024 and prior to now seemed with Adam Sandler within the 2020 Netflix movie Hubie Halloween. She’s now making her Off-Broadway debut in Julia Randall’s new play Dilaria, and likewise has upcoming roles within the new season of And Just Like That… and Happy Gilmore 2.

Ella continues, “My dad’s first job was at Lincoln Center and I just graduated from Julliard, so I was at school across the street. I look up to him, my mom and my grandparents a lot. Especially in a moment like this, where I’m doing the thing I love to do.”

The actress notes that theater is “the most sacred thing in my family,” including that she and her family members bond over musical theater. “So to finally get to [make my Off-Broadway debut] is really special,” she says. “And I feel lucky to have not only my parents’ support, but also their understanding of what it means to be doing this right now.”

Looking again at the yr following her Juilliard commencement, Ella says, “It’s been amazing. I am not a person who loves being in school. I was ready to get out. I’m so grateful for all the training that I got there, and I am really feeling that right now as I’m doing this run.”
