Coach Goodwin assured he is cracked the code to mend Melbourne’s goal-kicking demons

Melbourne trainer Simon Goodwin figures his gamers’ pricey and contagious goal-kicking woes originate above the shoulders.

“Everyone’s trying to crack the code in terms of goal-kicking,” Goodwin stated forward of the King’s Birthday blockbuster in opposition to Collingwood.

Both Jefferson (10 goals) and van Rooyen (four) have shown improved form at VFL level in affiliate side Casey’s pair of cushty wins over the last fortnight.
