A 6th shape scholar has set a brand new international file for finishing a 12-sided model of the Rubik’s dice.
Aidan Grainger, 17, from Royal Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire, solved the Megaminx device in simply 22.89 seconds at an tournament in Weston-super-Mare on 18 May.
He advised the BBC: “For the last few years my biggest goal has been to get a world record and I was so happy to get it.”
The youngster changed into the nationwide and European file holder in January 2024 and is now set to constitute the United Kingdom on the World Championships in Seattle in June.
