UK police have arrested 5 males, together with 4 Iranian nationals, on suspicion of “terrorism offences”, police have stated.
The arrests have been performed in London, Swindon and the Greater Manchester house and have been associated with “a suspected plot to target a specific premises”, London’s Metropolitan police stated in a remark.
The males, elderly between 29 and 46, have been arrested on suspicion of “preparation of a terrorist act” and stay in custody, the police stated.
The nationality of some of the males used to be nonetheless being established, they stated.

Murphy added: “We are working closely with local officers in the areas where we have made arrests today and I’d like to thank police colleagues around the country for their ongoing support.”
Officers are sporting out searches at quite a lot of addresses within the Greater Manchester, London and Swindon spaces in reference to the investigation.
