The Premier League has referred Leicester City to an unbiased fee for alleged breaches of the EFL’s profitability and sustainability regulations for the 2023-24 season.
Leicester also are accused of alleged breaches in their legal responsibility to supply their annual accounts to the Premier League via 31 December 2024 and to supply “full, complete and prompt assistance” to the Premier League based on the league’s inquiries.
Leicester say they’ll “engage cooperatively in this matter”. The Premier League stated it had jurisdiction even supposing Leicester were relegated to the Championship.
