Pop celebrity subpoenaed as a witness in It Ends With Us felony fight

Taylor Swift has been dragged into the continuing It Ends With Us felony drama.

Multiple retailers record the pop celebrity has been subpoenaed as a witness within the felony fight between shut buddy Blake Lively and co-star and director, Justin Baldoni.

According to Deadline, Baldoni’s legal professional Bryan Freedman issued the subpoena previous this week.

In a commentary received via retailers together with People and Deadline, a consultant for Swift claimed the subpoena used to be to “draw public interest” for the case.

“Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history,” the rep mentioned, relating to her record-breaking Eras Tour.

The rep claimed her “connection” to the film “was permitting the use of one song”.

“Given that her involvement was licencing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift’s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.”

Swift has been shut buddies with Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds for round a decade.

Lively stars within the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s ebook, It Ends With Us, which Baldoni each starred in and directed.
