Padres turn on all-star centre fielder Jackson Merrill from injured listing

NEW YORK — The San Diego Padres activated Jackson Merrill from the injured listing Tuesday after the outfielder used to be sidelined for a month with a strained left hamstring.

Merrill used to be batting fourth in opposition to the Yankees and taking part in heart box after becoming a member of the Padres on Monday. He returned after taking part in in a couple of harm rehabilitation video games for Double-A San Antonio throughout the weekend.
