Over 120 Flights Delayed After Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms In Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: Flight operations had been hit as sturdy winds, thunder, lightning, and heavy rains lashed Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). According to the media studies, over 120 incoming and outgoing flights at Delhi airport confronted disruption this morning, with moderate delays of 46 mins for arrivals and 54 mins for departures. Additionally, as many as 40 flights had been diverted to the brand new locations. 

However, the trade in climate introduced aid from the warmth that had gripped the area. While the Delhi airport and the bottom group of workers attempted to regulate the delays and irate passengers, many airways advised travellers to test the standing in their flights ahead of heading to the airport.

“Some of our flights to and from Delhi are being delayed or diverted, which is likely to impact our overall flight schedule. We are doing our best to minimize disruptions,” Air India mentioned in its remark on X.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an alert for Delhi this morning, caution of serious thunderstorms and squally winds between 70 and 80 kmph over the following couple of hours.
