Man charged with homicide after Derby financial institution stabbing

A person has been charged with homicide after a buyer was once stabbed at a financial institution in Derby town centre.

Haybe Cabdiraxmaan Nur, 47, of Western Road in Derby, has been charged with the homicide of Gurvinder Johal, 37, who was once stabbed within Lloyds in St Peter’s Street simply after 14:30 BST on Tuesday.

Mr Cabdiraxmaan will seem at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court later.

Samanatha Shallow, deputy leader crown prosecutor within the East Midlands, stated: “Following a review of the evidence provided by Derbyshire Constabulary, we have authorised criminal charges in relation to the death of 37-year-old Gurvinder Johal.”
