Londonderry: Woman ‘shaken’ after space set alight in arson assault

A lady has been left shaken after she was once within a space because it was once set alight, the Police Service of Northern Ireland has mentioned.

It came about at about 03:05 BST in Gweebara Park, Londonderry, on Saturday.

A person reportedly poured a type of accelerant onto the entrance porch and door sooner than environment it alight and making off on foot.

The lady was once no longer injured, police added.

Damage was once brought about to the entrance door space of the home and emergency products and services attended the hearth.

The guy was once believed to were dressed in a dark-coloured hooded best, with the hood up and his face lined, and darkish tracksuit bottoms.

Police are treating the assault as arson with intent to hazard existence and feature appealed for info.
