The Winnipeg Jets will probably be down a key member in their blue line as they are trying to pressure a Game 7.
Star defenceman Josh Morrissey exited in the second one length of Saturday’s Game 6 towards the Dallas Stars and did not go back to the bench for the beginning of the 3rd.
Morrissey went down the tunnel after you have twisted up with Stars ahead Mikko Rantanen, who appeared to land at the Jets’ assistant captain’s left leg awkwardly.
The six-foot-tall D-man already ignored Game 1 of Winnipeg’s second-round sequence whilst recuperating from an upper-body harm that pressured him out of the Jets’ Game 7 win over the St. Louis Blues in Round 1.
Morrissey had logged 14:56 of ice time prior to exiting Saturday, recording one shot on function, two hits and 4 blocked photographs.
The 30-year-old has recorded six assists on this post-season. In the common season, Morrissey used to be a plus-17 over 80 video games, registering 17 targets and 62 issues in over 24 mins of ice time in line with sport.
