Haryana-Based Ashoka University Professor Held For Remarks On Operation Sindoor

Ali Khan Mahmudabad, 42, who teaches political science at Haryana-based Ashoka University, has been arrested for remarks on Operation Sindoor.  

Mahmudabad was once arrested on a criticism filed by way of Yogesh Jatheri, the overall secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha in Haryana, resources stated.

Ali has been arrested below sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita relating inciting armed rise up or subversive actions and insulting non secular ideals.

We are in the process of ascertaining details of the case. The university will cooperate with the police and local authorities in the investigation fully.”
