Gabrielle Union Shares How Daughter Kaavia, 6, Is Bonding with Sister Zaya Before She Leaves for College (Exclusive)

The actress, 52, spoke with PEOPLE at the blue carpet on the 2025 Met Gala and shared that whilst she and husband Dwyane Wade are feeling “scared” about Zaya, 17, leaving for varsity within the fall, her circle of relatives is attempting to profit from the time they’ve in combination at house.

“Scared but excited for her,” Union says when requested about how her circle of relatives is feeling about Zaya leaving. “[She’s] an astrobiology major. So we can’t help with that. We haven’t been able to help with homework since the fourth grade, but we’re excited for next year.”
