Georgia is starting to pick out up steam at the recruiting path.
After touchdown five-star QB Jared Curtis to kick off the month, the Dawgs are at it once more. This time, with an in-state blue-chipper.
Four-star protection Jordan Smith dedicated to Georgia on Mother’s Day.
The Dawgs were in pole place for weeks main into his divulge.
“Being from Georgia, I’ll be honest, it’s different growing up. Georgia is all you hear about,” Smith began. “I’ve gotten to talk with some of the new guys on the team since they’ve rolled in, some of the commits — and it’s different from where they came from before. I’m interested in that.”
No group were pushing more difficult than the Dawgs, who beat Tennessee, Florida State, and Georgia Tech for the top-10 SAF within the nation out of South Georgia.
“They hit me up all the time — the entire coach staff, Coach T-Rob,” Smith stated. “They always keep up with me.”
The mixture of Robinson and Kirby Smart and Donte Williams within the defensive again room has carried a ton of weight in Smith’s recruitment.
“They talked ball with me — about how somebody like me suits the usual they’ve established and development there,” he continued. “The power there stood out so much to me … it is advisable inform there’s a robust village of balance there. They take a look at a large number of bins and I imagine I will be able to make an affect there evidently.”
