Firefighters are tackling a 2km (1.2 mile) lengthy moorland blaze in West Yorkshire.
The blaze broke out close to Oldham Road in Ripponden at about 12:15 BST, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) stated.
The reason for the blaze isn’t lately identified and smoke has been noticed billowing around the M62.
A WYFRS spokesperson stated 18 crews, together with firefighters from Greater Manchester, have been on the scene the usage of specialist wildfire apparatus to take on the hearth.
They requested the general public to keep away from the world.
