Two pensioners had been killed after being hit by way of electrical motorcycles in 48 hours leaving their households devastated. 

The two girls had been each pedestrians after they had been hit within the north of England.

72-year-old Shaat Bibi died after an electrical motorcycle slammed into her on Leeds Old Road in Bradford on Wednesday.

A 17-year-old boy who used to be riding the automobile, used to be arrested on suspicion of offences in the case of the collision. He has since been launched on police bail.

Mrs Bibi, unfortunately died in health facility on Friday from accidents sustained within the crash. 

The tragic crash came about at 4.54pm within the afternoon and police are interesting for witnesses. 

Meanwhile, a girl in her 80s used to be struck by way of an e-bike on Friday whilst crossing the street in Burdon Road, Sunderland.

She used to be pronounced lifeless on the scene after being hit by way of a black Sur-Ron motorcycle travelling north.

Commenting at the crash in Bradford, West Yorkshire Police stated: ‘Police have renewed an attraction for witnesses following the dying of a girl injured in a significant street site visitors collision in Bradford previous his week.

‘The Major Collision and Enquiry Team (MCET) want to talk to any individual who noticed or has photos of the collision on Leeds Old Road, Bradford at 4.54pm on Wednesday May 14.

‘It came about after an electrical motorbike used to be in collision with a feminine pedestrian who can now be named as Mrs Shaat Bibi (72) from Bradford.

‘She unfortunately passed on to the great beyond in health facility on Friday from accidents sustained within the collision.

‘The rider of the motorbike concerned, a 17-year-old male, used to be arrested on suspicion of offences in the case of the collision and launched on police bail.’

They added if any individual has data which might help the police, touch the Major Collision and Enquiry Team by way of calling 101.

Meanwhile, Sergeant Andrew Ferguson, of Northumbria Police, stated the dying of the 80-year-old in Sunderland used to be a ‘devastating incident’ and appealed for witnesses to return ahead.

He stated: ‘We know that is rather a hectic stretch of street, with a lot of people and cars within the space on the time, so please get in contact for those who noticed anything else.’
