Light rain and gusty winds swept throughout Delhi and Noida on Thursday as a western disturbance induced a recent wave of thunderstorms throughout northwestern India. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had previous issued an orange alert for the nationwide capital, caution of overcast skies and wind speeds robust sufficient to fire up mud storms in portions of the NCR.
