A UK coroner has published the tragic cases surrounding the dying of TV character Paul Danan, who died in January on the age of 46.

The Hollyoaks and Love Island superstar’s explanation for dying has been dominated a misadventure after taking a cocktail of prescribed and illicit medicine.

The cleaning soap superstar used to be discovered unresponsive and slumped on his settee in entrance of the TV at his Bristol house on January 15, an inquest heard.

“Paul helped so many people from all walks of life but just couldn’t help himself in the same way,” Beverley stated in her written commentary.

“His smiling face and love of life will always be remembered.”

Rookes informed the listening to at Avon Coroner’s Court in Bristol that there have been no indications Danan, who by chance overdosed in May 2024, meant to take his personal lifestyles.

“Mr Danan had a long history of drug misuse and struggles with his mental health,” Rookes informed the listening to.

“His death was caused by a combination of drugs, both prescription and illicit.

Danan was due to face a plea hearing on charges of possession of cocaine and cannabis on January 16, according to court documents.

He was also accused of driving under the influence of drugs in an incident last October.

The actor had been open about his struggles with sobriety most of his life, having begun battling with substance abuse issues as a teen.
