The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Friday raided more than one places around the valley in a case connected to terrorist actions. During searches, the company stated, it recovered and seized incriminating subject material, together with SIM playing cards, cell phones, pills, and different virtual units.
According to a remark issued through CIK right through the investigation of the case, suspicious technical signatures had been traced at other places in Budgam, Pulwama, Kupwara, Shopian, and Srinagar.
“The suspects were found using suspected encrypted messaging applications. During further analysis, various individual suspects were found using a ‘specific encrypted messaging application’ which is widely used by terrorists and handlers from across the border for coordinating and executing a variety of terrorist related activities, including recruitment into terrorist ranks,” reads the remark.
It reads that those people and customers are suspected to be involved with suspicious entities around the border. “As such, maintaining the element of surprise, the searches were meticulously planned and conducted”.
It added that right through raids, incriminating subject material, together with SIM playing cards, cell phones, pills, and different virtual units, has been recovered and seized. “Analysis of the data would follow, and leads that would emerge would become the basis for further investigation”.
The remark reads that the operation is geared toward uncovering an important proof, curtailing illicit actions, combating the misuse of conversation units, corresponding to cell phones, and dismantling the phobia ecosystem in J&Okay through figuring out terrorist buddies supporting and abetting terrorism.
