Bystanders apprehend bulldog after it makes an attempt to attack Met police horses

Members of the general public captured a bulldog which used to be looking to chunk the legs of 2 police horses whilst they had been out on patrol in London.

Metropolitan police horses Yvonne and Snaffles had been being ridden by means of officials when the out-of-control dog started nipping at their legs.

The incident in Shepherd’s Bush Green, west London, on Monday morning used to be captured at the body-worn digicam of one of the most police riders.

The pictures presentations 13-year-old Yvonne shifting in circles to flee the canine, which ran from side to side between the horses as the landlord struggled to get it underneath management.

“Fortunately Yvonne and Snaffles are recovering well and being looked after in their stables.

“We know horses are not a common sight in the capital but we urge all owners to keep their dogs under control to prevent this happening again.”

Yvonne, 13, recognisable by means of her large ears, has been a police horse since October 2020.
