A frame has been discovered through police looking a West Yorkshire reservoir for a teenage girl reported to have fallen in.
Emergency crews had been referred to as to the dam at Baitings Reservoir close to Ripponden at about 13:15 BST on Wednesday following experiences of an individual within the water.
An underwater seek group was once deployed and the frame was once came upon previous on Thursday afternoon, West Yorkshire Police stated. There aren’t considered any suspicious instances.
Det Insp Laura Hall, of Calderdale’s safeguarding group, stated: “While formal identification is yet to take place, the girl’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.”
On Wednesday afternoon, 5 crews from West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service attended, supported through one from Littleborough in Greater Manchester.
The officer added: “My thoughts go out to her family and friends at this very sad time.
“Our inquiries are proceeding into the loss of life in an effort to determine precisely what took place the day before today, however we don’t consider it to be suspicious.”
