Big Relief For Brij Bhushan Singh: Delhi Court Accepts Closure Report To Cancel POCSO Case

In a large reduction for BJP chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Monday approved the closure record filed via the Police for cancellation of a sexual harassment case filed underneath underneath Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act via a wrestler towards him.

“Special Judge (POCSO) Gomati Manocha accepted the cancellation report filed by the Delhi police,” ANI reported.

On May 17, Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Gomti Manocha of the Patiala House Court had summoned the wrestler, who had accused Singh of sexually assaulting her when she was once a minor, and directed the complainant to look in courtroom on May 26.

In June 2023, Delhi Police filed a cancellation record after the minor sufferer withdrew her observation.

On August 1, 2023, all over courtroom lawsuits, the complainant and her father didn’t oppose the closure record within the case towards the previous WFI president and expressed pleasure with the police investigation.
