Peperami’s newest marketing campaign to advertise its hen skewers sees the emblem’s recognizable (and loud) mascot again on TV displays.
The advert opens in a flat, beige kitchen, completely manufactured from cardboard. A lifeless-eyed cardboard guy gnaws at similarly useless hen snacks. Suddenly, the Animal smashes during the wall, tearing into the scene with wild-eyed fury. “Are you seriously snacking on cardboard?!” he roars: “I don’t do cardboard.”
Mark Campion, ingenious director at Fearless Union, mentioned, “We wanted to rip the lid off boring category conventions and bring Peperami’s spirit to life with a vengeance. By taking Animal back to his stop-motion roots and letting him loose on a world of cardboard, we created a taste-world metaphor that’s as disruptive as the product itself. It’s bold, mad, and totally Peperami.”
The new paintings bureaucracy the following bankruptcy within the release of Peperami’s new hen vary, within the fingers of advert company Fearless Union. It’s rolling out throughout TV, social and virtual channels from May 8.
