Just weeks on from Roosters ahead Spencer Leniu’s unsightly sideline spat with Channel Nine commentator Johnathan Thurston, he has reportedly had every other run-in with a member of the media.
As the Roosters cruised to a large win over the Dragons within the conventional Anzac Day fixture at Allianz Stadium at the again of Sandon Smith’s career-best efficiency, the tough prop allegedly used vulgar language when talking with reporter Brent Read.
Speaking on 2GB radio on Saturday, Roosters trainer Trent Robinson claimed he was once no longer acutely aware of the newest incident involving his fiery ahead.
“It’s the first I’ve heard of it, so I can’t really comment on that I didn’t know about that so I’ve got to look at more details,” Robinson stated.
“We definitely don’t want conflict constantly but conflict creates interest from a media perspective as well.”
Robinson was once supportive of his participant during the Thurston saga and claimed the headlines created consequently may just if truth be told be excellent for the NRL.
Leniu was once no longer sanctioned via the membership, or the NRL, after the stoush with the North Queensland Cowboys and Maroons legend over his grievance of Leniu and the governing frame have no longer but commented at the alleged run-in with Read on Friday.
