“So they have to go back to basic systems. They have got a lot of injuries so I don’t want to hang Dean Cox but we are talking about a pattern here and I just think get back to a really good system.

“Don’t simply depend on ability and Harlem Globetrotter-type soccer. Anyone can chase, someone can take on and that is the reason been the root of the Swans for the most efficient a part of 20-something years.”

Roos believes the Swans are too reliant on star midfielders Isaac Heeney and Chad Warner.

“I don’t believe there’s a staff within the pageant that is based so closely on two gamers — Isaac Heeney and Chad Warner,” the 2005 premiership coach said.
