Early on on this steadily stunning, wild and wildly provocative e-book, Robert Macfarlane recounts telling his son the identify of his venture. The boy exclaims that after all a river is alive, so that is going to be an excessively quick e-book. Macfarlane isn’t so positive, and nor am I. It has been a very long time since I’ve felt so torn over a brand new piece of writing.
