Police release manhunt after convicted assassin flees open jail in Scotland

Police have introduced a manhunt after a convicted assassin escaped from an open jail in Scotland.

Raymond McCourt, 59, was once reported lacking from HMP Castle Huntly in Dundee at 5.30pm on Tuesday.

Police Scotland have warned the general public to not method him.

McCourt is described as 6ft 2in, stocky, with brief gray hair and a beard and has decreased mobility.
