Prime Minister Narendra Modi won’t attend the 80th anniversary celebrations of Victory Day to be held in Moscow subsequent month, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov mentioned Wednesday. “India will not be represented at the highest level”, Peskov mentioned. According to native media stories Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh may just constitute as an alternative of Modi on the May 9 tournament.
Earlier in April, the Ministry of External Affairs had showed that PM Modi had gained a call for participation from President Vladimir Puti to take birthday party in Russia’s Victory Day celebrations on May 9.
President Vladimir Putin had invited Modi and Xi Jinping of China to wait the V-J Day birthday party right here to observe the victory parade on the Red Square. The Chinese President has showed that he’s going to participate within the tournament. Preparations are underway to host about 20 overseas leaders in Moscow.

May 9 marks the allied international locations’ victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.
