King and Queen to host VE Day tea birthday celebration for World War Two veterans

King Charles and Queen Camilla will host a tea birthday celebration at Buckingham Palace for conflict veterans as a part of commemorations to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

The King and Queen can be at the Palace balcony to look at a flypast and attend a celebratory live performance for the instance, which marks the top of World War Two in Europe.

National commemorations and occasions will start on 5 May with an army procession of 1,300 contributors of the military.
