Haryana Government Hikes Dearness Allowance By 2% To 55%

New Delhi: The Haryana govt on Wednesday introduced a hike in dearness allowance and dearness aid of staff and pensioners by way of two p.c. After the hike, the DA has been enhanced from 53 p.c to 55 p.c of the elemental pay with impact from 1 January, 2025. 

The greater DA and DR will probably be paid with the pay and pension of October and arrear for the months of January to April on May month’s wage.

On March 28, the Union Cabinet chaired by way of Prime Minister Narendra Modi authorized to unlock of an extra instalment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to Central Government staff and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners w.e.f. 01.01.2025 representing an building up of 2% over the present fee of 53% of the Basic Pay/Pension, to compensate towards worth upward thrust.
